This policy describes how the private Ordinaree Degenerates league portal handles your information.
What this site is
The Ordinaree Degenerates league portal is a private, members-only website. You need an invitation to sign in.
It is a bookkeeping tool for our fantasy football leagues. It records shared expenses and amounts owed between members — who paid for what, and who still owes the treasurer or other members.
This site does not hold, transfer, or process money. Members settle up directly with each other. The treasurer confirms when payment was received; the portal does not move funds.
This site does not offer gambling, set odds, or take any fee or cut from members.
Who runs this site
The Ordinaree Degenerates league portal is a private, invite-only website for league members. It is not a public service.
What we collect
If you sign in with Google
We receive your email address and name from Google. We use these only to:
- Check that you are on the league invite list
- Sign you in to your member account
- Show your name in the portal
We do not access your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or other Google data.
If you sign in with email and password
We store your email address, a bcrypt-hashed password, and your display name. We never store your plain-text password.
League profile information
Admins may store optional member details such as display name, Venmo/PayPal handles, and phone number (for future notifications).
How we use your data
- Run the portal (login, member roles, league features)
- Send transactional emails (password setup and reset links)
- Send optional Pick'em pick-reminder emails when you have joined a contest and still need picks before the week locks
- Send optional Challenge emails when someone challenges you or a challenge is resolved
We do not:
- Sell or rent your data
- Use your data for advertising
- Share your data with third parties except the service providers below

Data retention
Your member record stays in the database while you are an active league member. Admins can deactivate members who leave the league.
Security
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt
- Production traffic uses HTTPS
- Access is limited to invited, active members
Your choices
- Use Google or email/password — both link to the same member account
- Turn Pick'em and Challenge emails on or off under Profile → Notifications (password emails stay available when you request them)
- Contact a league admin to update or deactivate your account
